I felt my heart burst reading these words.

Life will always be far more than sheer utility.

A simple truth?

There are those of us who wouldn't still be here were it not for the intangibles.

We would be long gone, whether in body or spirit.

So we were given something to help us survive.

To help us see truth and beauty, in and all around us, and begin to comprehend it.

To give us life.

Art is vital - in every sense of the word.
